Agreement to Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the synth acadyds website and educational services. By accessing our website or enrolling in programmes, you agree to be bound by these terms.
If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our website or use our services. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, with changes becoming effective upon posting to the website.

1. Definitions
For purposes of these Terms and Conditions:
- "Services" refers to educational programmes, training courses, and related offerings provided by synth acadyds.
- "User" or "You" means any person accessing our website or using our services.
- "Content" includes all text, images, videos, course materials, and other information provided through our services.
- "We," "Us," or "Our" refers to synth acadyds and its authorized representatives.
- "Programme" means any structured educational offering including courses, workshops, and training sessions.
2. Use of Services
2.1 Eligibility
Users must be at least 18 years old to register for programmes independently. Participants under 18 require guardian consent. You represent that all information provided during registration is accurate and complete.
2.2 Account Registration
Some services require account creation. You are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality and all activities under your credentials. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breaches.
2.3 Acceptable Use
You agree to use services for lawful educational purposes only. You will not share account credentials, distribute course materials without authorization, or engage in activities that disrupt services or harm other users.
2.4 User Conduct
Participants are expected to maintain professional behavior during programmes. This includes respecting instructors and peers, contributing constructively to discussions, and adhering to programme-specific guidelines provided at enrollment.
3. Prohibited Activities
Users may not engage in the following activities:
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights of synth acadyds or third parties
- Transmit harmful code, viruses, or malicious software through our systems
- Attempt unauthorized access to our systems, other user accounts, or connected networks
- Engage in fraudulent activities including false registration information or payment fraud
- Harass, threaten, or discriminate against instructors, staff, or other participants
- Reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit course materials without written permission
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent affiliation with any organization
Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate termination of access to services without refund.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
4.1 Ownership
All content provided through our services, including course materials, videos, documents, software, and trademarks, remains the property of synth acadyds or our licensors. No content may be used, reproduced, or distributed without explicit written permission.
4.2 Limited License
Upon enrollment, participants receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use course materials for personal educational purposes during the programme period. This license does not permit commercial use, redistribution, or derivative works creation.
4.3 User Submissions
You retain ownership of intellectual property in your project submissions and assignments. By submitting work, you grant us a license to use, reproduce, and display such work for programme administration, assessment, and improvement purposes.
4.4 Third-Party Content
Some course materials may incorporate third-party content used under license. Such content remains subject to its original licensing terms and cannot be extracted or used independently.
5. Programme Enrollment and Participation
5.1 Registration
Programme registration requires completing enrollment forms and payment of applicable fees. Registration is confirmed upon receipt of payment and issuance of enrollment confirmation.
5.2 Payment Terms
Programme fees are payable in Singapore Dollars as specified during enrollment. Payment must be received before programme commencement. We accept bank transfers and major credit cards. All fees are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise.
5.3 Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellations made more than 14 days before programme start receive full refund minus administrative fee of 10%. Cancellations within 14 days receive 50% refund. No refunds are provided after programme commencement or for partial participation.
5.4 Programme Changes
We reserve the right to modify programme schedules, instructors, or content due to circumstances beyond our control. Participants will be notified of significant changes. If modifications substantially alter programme nature, participants may withdraw for full refund.
5.5 Completion Requirements
Completion documentation is issued upon meeting attendance requirements, submitting required assignments, and demonstrating competencies specified in programme description. Participants failing to meet requirements receive participation acknowledgment only.
6. Disclaimers and Limitations
6.1 Service Availability
Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Technical issues, maintenance, or circumstances beyond our control may affect service availability.
6.2 Educational Outcomes
While we design programmes to develop practical skills, individual learning outcomes depend on prior knowledge, engagement level, and application effort. We make no representations about employment, advancement, or specific results following programme completion.
6.3 Content Accuracy
We strive to provide accurate and current information, but the rapidly evolving nature of AI technology means some content may become outdated. We are not liable for decisions made based on programme content without additional research and professional judgment.
6.4 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claims arising from service use is limited to the fees paid for the specific programme involved. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
6.5 Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control including natural disasters, pandemics, civil unrest, government actions, or technical infrastructure failures.
7. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
7.1 Applicable Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising from these terms or service use shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Singapore courts.
7.2 Dispute Resolution Process
Before initiating formal proceedings, parties agree to attempt informal resolution through direct negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes may be referred to mediation. Only after exhausting these options may formal legal action be pursued.
7.3 Class Action Waiver
To the extent permitted by law, disputes must be resolved on an individual basis. You waive the right to participate in class actions, consolidated proceedings, or representative actions.
8. Termination
8.1 Termination by User
You may terminate your account or programme participation at any time subject to cancellation policies outlined in Section 5.3. Termination does not relieve you of obligations to pay fees already incurred.
8.2 Termination by synth acadyds
We may suspend or terminate access to services immediately without notice if you violate these terms, engage in prohibited activities, or for any reason that threatens service integrity or other users' safety. Termination for cause does not entitle you to refunds.
8.3 Effects of Termination
Upon termination, your access to services ceases immediately. Provisions regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution survive termination. You remain liable for any outstanding payment obligations.
9. General Provisions
9.1 Entire Agreement
These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and synth acadyds regarding service use, superseding all prior agreements and understandings.
9.2 Severability
If any provision of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect. Invalid provisions will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make them valid and enforceable.
9.3 No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these terms does not constitute a waiver of future enforcement of that right or provision. All rights and remedies remain available.
9.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer rights under these terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations to any successor entity in connection with merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
